Brandon Forrest Frederick is an artist, curator and arts organizer based in Kansas City, Missouri. He received his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2011. His work has been shown locally in solo and group exhibitions at La Esquina, the Kansas City Artists Coalition, Paragraph Gallery, the H&R Block Artspace, and nationally and internationally at the Granite City Arts & Design District (G-CADD) in Granite City, IL, Royal NoneSuch Gallery in Oakland, CA, and the CICA Museum in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.
He is currently the Co-Director of Open House, an alternative community art space inside of a single-family home, and in the past has been a founding member of projects such as The Roost Gallery and Archive Collective. Recently, he was awarded a DIY Fund Grant from Meow Wolf and a Rocket Grant through the Charlotte Street Foundation and the University of Kansas Spencer Museum of Art with funding provided by the Andy Warhol Foundation.
